We are looking for a tech enthusiast and visionary architect to drive the technological and architectural transformation of DB Schenker. By heading the department Global Technology, Architecture and IT Services you will provide stable and cyber-secure business-critical IT platforms and services for all business and functional units and lead our company's enterprise architecture and enterprise information management, the global technology, automation and enterprise integration domain. In this dynamic role you will drive further the transformation of DB Schenker's IT landscape and lead global teams looking at enterprise architecture and information management, internal digitalization, technology, integration platforms, as well as output and document management. Your tasks: + Driving and managing the technological and architectural development and transformation of DB Schenker + Providing expertise and business-critical IT platforms and services to all DB Schenker internal business and functional units + Managing the IT landscape transformation, including cloud center of excellence, digital component model, open source strategy, decommissioning roadmap, solution delivery optimization + Developing and executing the technology, architecture, integration domain and automation strategy for DB Schenker in alignment with the relevant IT and digitalization departments + Managing, developing, operating, and providing services for global automation and other cross platforms and managing the company-wide implementation of automations based on those platforms + Driving and managing the hyper-automation transformation + Managing, developing and transforming the business-critical IT backbone/middle layer (incl. integration development) and related applications as well as providing service and operations management + Manage, develop, operate and provide service for enterprise integration platforms and output and document management + Integration development and transformation of enterprise integration (eiPaaS) + Orchestrating the hyper-automation, cloud and enterprise integration adoption across all IT and business domains + Leading global center of competence for automation, cloud center of excellence, and global internal digitalization, striving for maximum level of automation and driving the cloud-enabled IT transformation + Definition of global standards and processes for integration and usage of integration platforms + Scouting for new technologies providing additional business benefit and implementation of respective MVPs/PoCs
+ You hold a master's degree in computer science or related area or equivalent work experience + You have a minimum of 15 years track record in large, multi-national organizations with an emphasis on IT solution delivery + You have gathered multiple years of relevant technical and business experience; previous exposure in the logistics industry is an advantage + You show passion for driving and shaping technology transformation. + You bring strong leadership and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills which you have already proven in managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior executive management & stakeholders. + You are a progress-oriented person who wants to grow with the company, be open-minded, and driven by technology. + You commit to continuous improvement and prove ability to show delivery of process improvement. + You are a proactive problem solver and a good teamplayer + You have hands-on and proactive attitude + You engage and motivate others
